The Lift Is In!

The lift is in! Thank You to everyone that helped in any way with this big project - from raising money to making plans to painting and cleaning. It could not have been done without you. A special thanks to Vicky & Peter TeBeest, Pastor Laura and the Trustees for all of their time and efforts. Praise the Lord for an addition that will benefit many in the years to come.

Purpose of the UMW:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

 

UMW Book Club
The UMW just finished reading and discussing Unveiled by Francine Rivers. This is the first of a series of five books called "The Lineage of Grace." Unveiled is the story of Tamar and is based on Genesis 38. The next book in the series, Unashamed, is the story of Rahab and is based on Joshua 2. We will be starting it soon. The stories of Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary complete the series. If you are interested in joining the group, please let Arica Leonard or Tyra Walters know. They are getting the books through the livrary so there is no cost.
